Over more than 25 years, my professional trajectory has spanned legal practice, executive leadership, corporate governance and compliance, privacy and data protection, technology and innovation management, Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I), and applied research.
My background includes experience as an Attorney-at-Law, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief Governance Officer (CGO), Data Protection Officer (DPO), Project Manager, Product Owner, advisor, mentor, and researcher.
I currently combine professional activities with academic research at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) and independent research in Artificial Intelligence and robotics. My current research focuses on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI ethics, pseudo-consciousness and simulated presence, collective and multi-agent learning, cloud robotics, and AI literacy.
